BetaShock is not a gaming news site strictly speaking. We may have more newsworthy pieces every now and then but our focus is on entertainment and sharing our thoughts and opinions on the industry and what it has to offer.

Who is BetaShock?

As we launch BetaShock we both have full time jobs and all the professional and personal responsibilities that go along with life so BetaShock is very much our passion project, a project we wish to grow with.

As of launch BetaShock is made up of John Helgeson and Rob Ostrout

At the heart of BetaShock is our weekly podcast (ShockTalk) where we talk about the latest games, movies, tv shows and industry news. ShockTalk is also a way for us to interact with our community by reading and answering your emails.

Also on the agenda is a steady stream of game reviews, video content and live streams. Stay tuned and check back for more updates. We are just getting started and have big ideas for what BetaShock can be.
